About The Position

Daland Swim School is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and positive Swim Instructors to teach children and adults essential swimming and water safety skills in a fun, encouraging environment. Instructors help students overcome fears, celebrate milestones, and build confidence in the water. No previous swim teaching experience is required; paid, hands-on training is provided.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Be friendly, patient, enthusiastic, and dependable.
• Be comfortable working with children and being in the water.
• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Be able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule, including some evenings and weekends.
• Be willing to participate in paid training and ongoing professional development.
• American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is required. Certification courses are offered on-site, with reimbursement available after six months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in childcare, teaching, coaching, or swimming.

Responsibilities

• Teach engaging swim lessons to students of different ages and abilities.
• Demonstrate swimming techniques and essential water safety skills.

• Communicate with parents and guardians about student development.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment.
