About The Position

Join our team as a Swim Instructor at our new British Swim School location. This position is an opportunity to learn, grow, and ensure survival at “every age and every stage.” As a newly launched franchise, we are building our team and story from the ground up, offering a unique chance to help shape our culture and grow with the business. British Swim School instructors teach survival skills, confidence, and lifelong safety, not just swim strokes. No prior experience is required as full paid training is provided. If you enjoy working with children, value meaningful work, and want to help families in your community, this role is a great fit. You will be trained to teach swim lessons to children and adults, starting at 3-months old, following the gentle, fun, and progressive British Swim School aquatics program. You will be assigned a class schedule developed by a manager and interact with swimmers, parents, and/or guardians. This is a part-time leadership role with a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week, with potential for growth as the school expands. At British Swim School, we are a mission-driven community dedicated to saving lives through water safety education, focusing first on survival skills and then on learn-to-swim techniques.

Requirements

• Comfortable in the water and able to swim
• Enjoy working with children and families
• Positive attitude; strong communication
• Dependable and punctual

Nice To Haves

• Experience teaching, coaching, babysitting, caregiving, or customer service
• Lifeguard certification (or willingness to obtain)
