About The Position
The Swift Creek Family YMCA (Hampton Park) is seeking part-time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at its pool. Instructors work with small groups of students, teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and YMCA core values using a variety of tools and teaching techniques. Candidates should be enthusiastic and energetic, have strong interpersonal skills, and be available to work a variety of shifts and with a variety of ages.
Requirements
- Current CPR certification.
- Current AED certification.
- Current First Aid certification.
- Enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts and with a variety of ages.
Nice To Haves
- Current YMCA, American Red Cross Lifeguard, or Ellis and YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor or WSI certification; preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
