About The Position
As a Swim Instructor at the Y, you will help children of all ages gain confidence in the water, overcome fears, and develop lasting skills. The role focuses on water safety, stroke development, personal growth, and fun. Instructors build positive relationships with participants, provide motivational support and guidance, and communicate goals and concerns with parents or guardians. The organization offers staff and lead/supervisory roles; applicants may be considered for all roles, with opportunities discussed during the interview process.
