Requirements

• Ability to swim.
• Patience and genuineness in teaching each student individually.
• Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to perform quality work and represent Goldfish Swim School's mission.
• Demonstrate integrity, compassion, and trust in all actions.
• Availability for set groups of lessons (no half-shifts or mid-shifts).
• Ability to arrive 15 minutes before swim lessons for setup and pre-shift meetings.
• Ability to work the same part-time scheduled days every week.
• Must be able to work the following set lesson times: 9:00-12:00 and 4:00-8:00 Monday through Friday, and 8:30-3:30 on Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare class materials and review lesson themes to ensure readiness for each swim lesson.
• Teach up to 4 swimmers per class using a proven curriculum focused on water safety, swim, and swim play skills (6 swimmers for infant/parent-and-me lessons).
• Communicate progress and celebrate achievements with parents and caregivers after each class.
• Perform lifeguarding duties and supervise lessons as needed.
• Guide and support new swimmers through their progression in the swim program.
