About The Position

We are seeking a capable Sweeper Operator to maintain the cleanliness and safety of parking lots and garages. The role involves driving specialized vehicles, operating vehicle controls and attachments, and gathering refuse and debris for collection. Operators are responsible for efficiently servicing client needs while complying with company policies. The position may also require using a blower on sidewalks, curb lines, and dumpster areas. Full-time and part-time positions are available on the graveyard shift. Sweeping experience is a plus but is not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, stretch, frequently lift 25 pounds, and drive continuously.
• Ability to occasionally use a backpack blower weighing approximately 25 pounds.
• Problem-solving, oral and written communication, and concentration skills.
• Eye-hand coordination and equipment-handling ability.

Nice To Haves

• Sweeping experience; not required, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sweeping vehicle.
• Secure supplies and material-handling equipment before operating the sweeper.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle.
• Monitor the vehicle while on route and notify the Supervisor of concerns.
• Immediately notify the Supervisor of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• When required, operate a blower to clear sidewalks, curb lines, and dumpster areas.
• Gather refuse and debris for collection and maintain the cleanliness and safety of parking lots and garages.
