About The Position
The Swab Assistant assists rig operator in routine swab rig operating functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six months related experience and/or training.
- Must have valid, active state-issued Class A commercial driver license (CDL); endorsements a plus.
- Must be able to communicate; speak, understand, read, and write effectively in English.
- Required to work outdoors in all weather conditions and engage in strenuous physical activity.
Responsibilities
- Assists rig operator in routine swab rig operating functions.
- Complies with company safety procedures ensuring a safe work environment.
- Follows an established daily maintenance program for the swab rig.
- Performs the operation of the draw works, assessment of down hole conditions, well pressures.
- Executes set up, take down, and transportation of swab rig.
