About The Position

We are seeking a SVP of Post Production to lead our post-production services department. This is a high-impact executive role responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of post-production across all television projects under Pantheon Media Group.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in post-production, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (VP or above) at a major studio or high-growth production company.
  • Experience with hands on Post Production Supervision of projects that have delivered to linear television and major streamers.
  • Exceptional ability to translate "tech-speak" into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will possess the creative sensibility to maintain high aesthetic standards and the technical prowess to manage complex schedules, budgets and cutting-edge workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term roadmap for the Post Production department, ensuring scalability as the demands of the business fluctuate.
  • Establish and implement standard operating procedures for offline editing, sound, and finishing across all projects.
  • Hire Post Production teams as needed for all projects.
  • Identify strong candidates for all Post Production Supervision assignments.
  • Lead and mentor freelance Post Production Supervisors, Assistant Editors and Post Production teams for duration of projects.
  • Maintain database of hardware and software use across all projects.
  • Manage Post Production staff members including: Manager, Post Production and Manager, Post Production Engineering.
  • Work closely with SVP, Production and Operations to help manage post-production budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and under budget.
  • Keep Head of Finance and SVP, Production and Operations updated on all projected post production Operation Expenses and Capital Expenditures.
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with third party vendors.
  • Be the liaison for PMG with Network representatives from Post Production, and effectively communicate for each project accordingly.
  • Oversee freelance staff to complete final delivery and deliverables of all projects.
  • Oversee the implementation of emerging technologies, including new developments in offline editorial, AI-assisted workflows, and Cloud-based collaboration.
  • Identify cost savings and efficiencies among Post Production operations.
  • Work closely with WME Group IT department to ensure rigorous security protocols and MPAA-compliant data management systems are in place to protect IP.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Showrunners, Directors, and Executive Leadership to troubleshoot creative roadblocks.
