Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Formal credit training; ability to understand basic cash-flow analysis using tax returns, financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and/or profit & loss statements
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co-workers, and direct reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, team members, and the general public.
  • Sound judgement in decision making and highly proficient in problem solving.
  • Care about your community and have a desire to be involved.
  • Must be able to perform job functions with indirect supervision and work effectively as a member of a team and independently.
  • Must be capable of working harmoniously with diverse personalities of co-workers, staff and customers.
  • Requires regular and reliable attendance and the ability to work varying hours.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall operations and financial performance within a specific community.
  • Management and development of other lenders and portfolios within the community.
  • Support the Bank’s strong relationship banking culture through ongoing customer contact and superior product knowledge.
  • Exercise executive and administrative control over function of the assigned offices, including participation in the budget process, implementation of area policies, and explanation of company programs and objectives.
  • Manage and oversee loan and deposit growth, loan yields, cost of funding, net interest margin, overhead expense, and fee income.
  • Lead by example, communicate vision with a passion, and maintain the focus on mission and purpose consistent with the banking model.
  • Develop and implement overall bank financial performance to ensure growth and profitability while maintaining safety and soundness.
  • Become a well-known and recognized community leader.
