About The Position

Create and maintain close relationships with all parties involved in commercial transactions and help facilitate sales through the structuring of creative and appealing loan products. Develops and retains commercial business, meeting with prospects and customers of moderate size and complexity in a designated region to achieve sales goals under limited supervision of more experienced personnel. Makes call independently and may accompany more experienced personnel on larger account visits. Gathers related financial and general business information, performs financial analyses needed to make credit decisions, participates in team credit decisions and communicates with prospects and customers to close sales. Develops broader knowledge base of commercial and other products and services, including loan policy, documentation, structuring and regulatory requirements. Continues developing growing network of outside referral sources for new business. Ensures that own work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. Represents the Bank at various civic and community functions to enhance its image and develop new business. Works with collectors and other Loan Servicing personnel to resolve delinquent payment issues, credit problems, and related situations. Perform other duties as needed or assigned by management. Successfully complete in-house training as required. Recommends other Bank products and services when appropriate. Provide and maintain professional business atmosphere. Promote a professional, positive and proper image of the Bank to the public and to the employees. Maintain good working relationship with support departments and management. Adopt First National Bank of Pasco’s philosophies and adhere to Bank policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in originating commercial first and second mortgages, commercial construction loans, working capital lines of credit, and other related products.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Underwriting knowledge, from origination to loan closing.
  • Strong consultative sales skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and communications skills.
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar and mathematics skills.
  • Knowledge of Spreadsheet programs, Customer relationship management programs, accounting software; Database software; Internet software; and Word Processing software, Sales Pro/Laser Pro, DO/Fannie Mae, FHA Connection, Secondary Market systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all BSA/AML/OFAC regulations and all other regulatory, security and bank policies.
  • Successfully perform quality work within deadlines with or without supervision.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
