About The Position

The purpose of this role is to drive the relationship management and pipeline for one or more clients across an industry sector or specific service set at a market level. This role involves identifying and shaping appropriate service models and solutions according to client needs and expectations, leveraging dentsu's capabilities. The SVP, Client Growth Lead acts as the interface between market client leadership and service line teams, translating overall market client strategy into specific service line strategies for their client portfolio. They work closely with the Chief Client Officer and Integrated Client Leads (ICLs) to understand overarching client strategy and its translation into service line and integrated solutions strategy. This position leads client-specific account teams within the market, fostering strong relationships with key client contacts at all levels. The role directs the development of strategic plans for each client, proactively identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities. Collaboration with service delivery leads ensures the delivery of appropriate solutions aligned with revenue and profit goals. The SVP, Client Growth Lead also partners with the Chief Client Officer on infrastructure projects to accelerate client growth and works with service line leads to map client relationships and delivery portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Identifies and shapes the appropriate service models and solutions according to client needs and expectations based on relevant dentsu capabilities and services
  • Acts as the interface between the market client leadership team and the market service line team, translating overall market client strategy into specific service line strategies for their client portfolio
  • Works in close collaboration with market Chief Client Officer and ICLs to understand overarching client strategy for the market and how this translates into the service line and integrated solutions strategy
  • Leadership of client specific account teams within the market who regularly engage with, and understand, the challenges and upcoming needs of their clients for the dentsu services
  • Leads and directs account team(s) to identify key client contacts at all levels and build strong relationships
  • Directs the development of strategic plans for each client within the portfolio in collaboration with client portfolio leads accountable for the same client across other service sets
  • Proactively opens up and develops specific client cross sell and up sell opportunities
  • Liaises with service delivery leads to ensure delivery of the right solutions for clients, in line with revenue and profit plan
  • Collaborates with Chief Client Officer in necessary infrastructure projects necessary to accelerate client growth
  • Works in collaboration with the service line lead to build a clear picture of client relationships and the corresponding delivery portfolio
