KBR's National Security Solutions team is seeking a Sustainment Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to support a Space Systems Command (SSC) Program Management Office (PMO) at Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), CO. This role involves conducting Operations & Sustainment (O&S) activities for advanced Military and Commercial Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) systems, ensuring global secure, survivable, and protected communications for national security. The position is with KBR as the prime contractor on the Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. The ideal candidate will be an innovative, creative, and highly-motivated T&E Engineer capable of autonomous learning and growth, performing independent testing and terminal operations for diverse strategic and tactical MILSATCOM space systems and NC3 capabilities. Responsibilities include tackling technical challenges, driving solutions for legacy and transitioning space-based telecommunication capabilities, and conducting test planning, execution, and assessments using established government processes for independent verification and validation of system changes. The role involves working in a state-of-the-art laboratory to test system upgrades and contributing to Joint and Allied combat readiness by supporting MILSATCOM and NC3 space systems, terminals, and software applications.
