Requirements
- Automatic wire bonding and die attach experience is required.
- Capable of following manufacturing procedures and performing hands on assembly of manufacturing prototypes.
- Capable of training operators in process operations.
- Knowledge in materials associated with Chip and Wire assemblies. (silver epoxies, bonding Wire, Encapsulants).
- BS or Master in EE, Physics, Materials Science or related Discipline.
- Computer Literate with basic programming skills.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
- Ability to write reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively to vendors, customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to solve technical problems and deal with a variety of concrete Variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Microwave electronics and or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
- Preferred relevant internships in micro electronics assembly.
Responsibilities
- Creating and updating work instructions related to specific assembly processes.
- Prototype builds related to new products.
- Process flow diagrams.
- PFMEA, PCP and OCAP.
- Implementation of Lean/Continuous improvement.
- Conducting risk assessments on equipment.
- Continuous improvements on new/existing equipment.
- Time studies on processes and equipment.
