About The Position

The Sustainability Specialist supports the design and execution of events and programs that advance the company’s three sustainability pillars: Emission Reduction, Water Leadership, and Package Recovery. Initiatives include Closed Loop programs, Rain Barrel workshops, and tree-planting and urban-garden projects. The role works with industry partners, associations, and consultants to identify sustainability challenges and opportunities and pilot and scale solutions that support industry goals. The specialist tracks sustainability program data and industry information, prepares reports and presentations, represents the company at relevant conferences and events, and educates the public about the company’s sustainability initiatives. The role coordinates program logistics with internal teammates and external stakeholders, manages relationships with community partners and customers, and serves as a point of contact for sustainability partnerships. Work includes indoor and outdoor events in varying weather conditions, with occasional office, conference, and customer call-point work. Some weekend and holiday availability is required.
