The successful candidate will serve as PG&E’s Assistant Tribal Liaison with Native American Tribal governments, communities, and organizations. The candidate will drive visible engagement and initiatives with Native American Tribal governments, communities, and organizations in support of PG&E’s operations and to support the development of sustainable, resilient communities. This includes working proactively to support Tribal engagement as part of PG&E’s regional service model, working in coordination with PG&E’s Tribal engagement team and enterprise-wide efforts to standardize and implement best practices to better address the needs of Native Americans. It also includes planning, outreach, and engagement for PG&E’s service delivery, infrastructure projects, customer programs, emergency operations support, and regulatory programs, while also pursuing strategic partnerships and opportunities. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Native American culture, tradition, and experiences. The individual will have strong stakeholder relationships with Native American Tribal governments and Tribal communities, demonstrated leadership and management skills and experience with Tribes, and knowledge and experience with industry best practices. The candidate will possess outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to a range of audiences and constituencies. The individual will possess strong research, organizational, and analytical skills and experience with tracking, reporting, and visual management of data and content. The individual will also be able to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team and to manage multiple projects simultaneously and from conception to implementation. This position requires up to 15% travel. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and your assigned work location based on business need. The assigned work location will be within PG&E’s service area. Final work location will be determined between the hiring leader and successful candidate. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
