Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Associate – Sustainability & Resilience in New York, NY to lead and manage energy modeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation
Integrating future climate projections information into building performance simulations
Modeling in compliance with energy codes in the U.S. and Canada
Working with utility incentive program modeling requirements
Executing district-scale thermal network modeling
Modeling passive survivability during extreme events under future climate scenarios

Responsibilities

Lead and manage energy modeling projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
