About The Position

BaptistCare is seeking a passionate and purpose-driven Sustainability Manager to lead our sustainability strategy, framework and key initiatives across the organisation. Reporting to the General Manager - Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to net zero, the Reconciliation Action Plan and other key sustainability priorities while embedding environmental, social and governance principles into organisational strategy, decision-making and culture. This is an exciting opportunity to influence organisation-wide change, broaden your career, build specialist expertise in sustainability, and work closely with senior leaders to create positive impact for our customers, communities and people.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience leading projects, initiatives or organisational change
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
The ability to bring people together around a shared vision and purpose
Experience working with data, reporting, governance frameworks or performance measures
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn and develop sustainability expertise
The ability to think strategically while delivering practical outcomes
A commitment to BaptistCare's mission, values and Christian identity
