About The Position
Prepare fresh, high-quality sushi rolls for sale in the store and help customers with made-to-order or special requests. Work alongside experienced sushi chefs to learn traditional techniques and develop culinary skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of kitchen experience.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with sushi products.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a culinary setting.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a sushi or Japanese restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice.
- Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely preparation.
- Maintain excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction.
