About The Position
Prepare fresh, high-quality sushi for sale in the store and assist customers with made-to-order items and special requests. Work alongside experienced sushi chefs to learn traditional techniques and develop sushi preparation skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The role requires availability for afternoon and evening shifts, including weekends, and applicants must be at least 18 years old.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients, including slicing fish, cutting vegetables, and making sushi rice.
- Assist in making sushi rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely preparation.
- Uphold excellent food presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with made-to-order items and special requests.
