Requirements

• Prior sushi experience is preferred.
• At least 1 year of restaurant experience is preferred.
• Dependable team player with flexible availability.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to excel in a fast-moving atmosphere.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Right knife skills can compensate for lack of experience.
• Handy knowledge of Food and Health codes is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Cut, slice, and fillet various types of fish and vegetables with precision.
• Inspect the freshness and quality of ingredients to ensure top-notch sushi dishes.
• Prepare an array of sushi dishes according to established guidelines.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Sterilize all tools and equipment before every use.
• Greet and interact with guests.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
