About The Position
Aldridge is seeking a Surveyor to join our dynamic and energetic team within our Foundations division. We are looking for a qualified construction surveyor that can perform staking, layout, as-built surveys, and document electrical infrastructure. This person will have to be motivated and be able to travel to different locations.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with on site layout for construction
- Experience with Trimble GPS instruments, Trimble Total Station, and Trimble Business Center
- Job requires both office and outdoor work
- Previous experience as a surveyor or in a similar role
Responsibilities
- Assist the VDC department on project needs for layout
- Help maintain a layout schedule and progress of work log
- Capture as-built information and share with the VDC team
- Perform site layout and capture shots during backfill operations to eliminate rework
- Capture accurate measurements using GPS and Trimble Total Station
- Set up site equipment
