Requirements

An associate degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering Technology is a plus, but it is not required.
Some professional experience is preferred, but recent graduates who are eager to learn and motivated are also encouraged to apply.
Knowledge of land surveying practices, field procedures and terminology.
Experience with total stations, GPS and data collectors.
Willingness to work hard, be reliable and work in the field daily.
A valid driver’s license.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Team player mentality.

Responsibilities

Conduct topographic surveys, construction layout and GPS surveys.
Operate field surveying instruments, Trimble Total Stations, data collectors and GPS equipment.
Gather accurate field data and notes.
Set up, operate and maintain survey equipment.
Process and organize survey data for use in CAD.
Support land surveyors and engineering designers.
Travel to job sites in company-provided vehicles, including some that are out of town.
