We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager-RPLS with 7+ years of experience to join our team in the Austin, TX office. In this position you will act as a Survey Project Manager, in the execution of various public and private sector survey assignments. You will assist in directing teams of technicians and field crews to complete large-scale public and private works improvement projects, while coordinating survey responsibilities with other discipline leads at WGI. Requirements

  • Licensed as a Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas
  • Strong technical skills, including experience with Civil3D
  • Experience in right-of-way mapping, boundary surveying, topographic & tree surveys, construction staking & title research
  • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. We are unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of employment visas

Responsibilities

  • Direct assigned survey projects
  • Perform project budgeting, project scheduling, and resource allocation as assigned
  • Coordinate with field crews and technicians to establish project responsibilities and priorities
  • Coordination with other department and discipline leads on scheduling objectives and project milestones
  • Perform boundary analysis for large-scale corridor, route, and land surveys
  • Sign and seal surveys, maps, and survey related documents as the responsible professional in charge
  • Perform in-process quality control of survey field activities, calculations, and project deliverables
