Requirements
- 4 - 8 years of experience supervising a survey field crew.
- Excellent math skills.
- Ability to interpret design plans and understand as-built drawings and roadway plans.
- Ability to create legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
- A valid current driver’s license is required.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Leadership and mentoring skills.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to maintain required certifications.
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check are conditions of employment.
- Motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
Responsibilities
- Supervising a survey field crew performing control surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, construction stakeout, monitoring and as-built surveys.
- Mentoring, training, and managing assigned staff in the field.
- Operating robotic total stations, electronic data collectors, digital and optical levels, and RTK GPS equipment.
- Performing survey calculations in the field.
- Interpreting design plans and understanding as-built drawings and roadway plans.
- Creating legible field sketches and detailed field notes.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
