About The Position

The individual accepting this assignment will teach Career and Technical Education: Survey of Trades to students in grades 9-12.

Requirements

• Valid Oregon teaching license appropriate to the assignment.
• Knowledge of Architectural Design, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Welding, Machining, CAD Design, and Plumbing.
• Knowledge of social/emotional needs of high school students.
• Ability to work well with students, communicate with parents and peers.
• Ability to use a variety of learning and instructional models.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work well with other staff, students, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Must communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
• Must work effectively with students of varying abilities.
• Provide students with theoretical lessons and hands on practical experience in Architectural Design, Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Welding, Machining, CAD Design, and Plumbing.
• Use a variety of learning and instructional models.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Work well with other staff, students, and parents.

Benefits

• New staff in-service will be held 8/25/2026-8/26/2026 and will be paid in addition to contract days.
