About The Position

Responsible for understanding standard survey practices, daily completion of work, and maintaining survey equipment. This role involves basic understanding of plans (blueprint reading), operating survey equipment (G.P.S., total station, level, etc.), and performing basic survey calculations to assist the Party Chief. The specialist will keep construction documents up to date, maintain equipment in proper working order, and ensure the truck is fully stocked with materials. Responsibilities also include performing construction stakeout, storing stakeout data, and understanding/making changes to the Revit model. The job description is subject to change and may include other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and interface with others.
• Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
• Working on NICET certification and 2 years survey and/or layout experience.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)
• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
