About The Position

Dewberry is currently seeking responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individuals to join our Gainesville, VA office as a Survey Intern for Summer 2027. An Intern Surveyor must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey crew assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, land development and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology. A housing stipend might be available for candidates that meet eligibility criteria. Requirements

Currently pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering, GIS, or Planning
Must have good Mathematical skills
Must have basic computer skills
Must have good communication skills
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check
Must be physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites under all weather conditions; able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods
