About The Position
Verdantas, through its company PACE Engineers, is seeking a Survey Field Technician III/IV to join their Survey team in Lake Oswego, OR. PACE Engineers is a Pacific Northwest firm offering civil and structural engineering, planning, surveying, construction management, and environmental services. The Survey team utilizes cutting-edge technology, including 3D imaging, drones, and GPS, to provide accurate land surveys, detailed land data, and precise information for easements and right-of-way disputes. Workstations are equipped with AutoCAD Civil 3D and point cloud processing capabilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma a minimum requirement
- 2-5yrs previous work experience as Survey Technician
- Ability to lift and carry 30 to 40 pounds
- Be willing to work in inclement weather conditions and varied terrain
- Valid Oregon State driver’s license preferred
Nice To Haves
- Any college degree a plus
- LSIT preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Working with the Party Chief/Crew Leader to accurately and efficiently perform survey duties as required to meet project needs
- Work with others to complete daily survey tasks within rural and/or urban environments
- Perform various survey functions while working on construction sites
- Setting up and operating surveying instruments
- Regular equipment maintenance
- Clear and concise note taking as directed by Party Chief
