About The Position

JMT surveys is seeking a Survey Crew Leader to join our teams in Hunt Valley, MD or York, PA. This position will be responsible for managing a field crew in the performance of daily survey tasks. Immigration sponsorship or support (e.g. H1B, F-1 CPT/OPT/STEM OPT) is not available for this position, except for qualified candidates eligible for the TN visa classification.

Requirements

• Experience with electronic data collectors (Trimble), digital levels, robotic total station, GPS

Responsibilities

• Perform control, boundary, and topographic surveys
• Operate and supervise the use of all survey equipment including electronic data collectors (Trimble), digital levels, robotic total station, GPS and survey vehicles.
• Performs construction stakeout computations necessary for the completion of task assignments
• Tracks job progress
• Completes data collector maintenance
• Coordinates information for stakeout services
• Communicates the daily progress of the crew towards the project goals and/or accomplishments with the office staff
• Perform other related duties as assigned
