Requirements

• Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying
• 3+ years of Surveying experience
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Proficient in use of Autodesk Civil 3D (v. 2020-2024)
• Knowledge of surveying practices and procedures (Field & Office)
• Ability to work 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Mon-Thursday. 7:00 AM - 11:30 AM Friday with occasional overtime.
• Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an environment that may contain venomous snakes and insects such as ticks, red bugs, wasps, bees, hornets, yellow jackets, etc.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures.
• Ability to climb hills and walk long distances.
• Ability to traverse different types of terrain.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.

Nice To Haves

• CST Level I or II (Office) certification preferred
• Carlson Software preferred
• Proficient in use of Microstation and OpenRoads is a plus

Responsibilities

• Preparing survey-related deliverables
• Project management in Construction, Boundaries, and Topographic Surveys
• Boundary and right of way resolution
• Reading and interpreting plats, deeds, easements, and plans
• Working independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Interacting both verbally and written
