About The Position

The CADD Technician for the Survey Group is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using specialized computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software. This role involves collaborating with surveyors and engineers to develop and revise designs, ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. This position is based in our Woodbury, Long Island (Nassau County) location.

Requirements

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proficiency with AutoCAD
Experience in Microstation and Civil3D is a plus.
Positive attitude with good initiative.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-starter with a curious nature and a strong desire to learn.
Valid Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree (2-year) in either Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Prepare survey drawings including, but not limited to Boundary, Right of Way, Topographic and As-Built Surveys.
2D/3D Drafting
Perform research for utility records, survey maps and property deeds.
Assisting project managers on an as needed basis and working on multiple projects.
Other general duties include printing, scanning, and organizing CADD drawings.
Adhere to company CADD standards.
