Survey Assistant - Construction
About The Position
This position performs a broad range of duties on a survey crew, including clearing brush, carrying equipment, locating monuments, holding level rods, setting stakes, measuring distances, taking notes, making computations, and basic drafting. The role also involves maintaining equipment and vehicles, utilizing computer software for certain duties, and performing all tasks in a safe, professional, and courteous manner to promote a positive image. The position requires adherence to a daily schedule that supports the company's hours of operation, and regular, predictable onsite job attendance is essential.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent with math training sufficient to perform field and laboratory tests
- Must possess and maintain a valid state of Michigan driver license
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a valid driver's license
