Survey Assistant - Construction
About The Position
Perform a broad range of duties on a survey crew such as: Clearing brush, Carrying takes and equipment, Locating monuments, Holding level rod, setting stakes, Measuring distances, Taking notes, Making computations, Basic drafting, Other technically related specialties. Maintains equipment and vehicles used by survey crew. Utilize computer software programs to complete certain duties. Must perform duties in a safe, professional, and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County. Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation. Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent with math training sufficient to perform field and laboratory tests.
- Must possess and maintain a valid state of Michigan driver license.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a valid driver's license.
