Requirements

• Basic or advanced knowledge of surveying and mapping principles, techniques, and procedures.
• Knowledge of algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Experience in computer aided drafting applications.
• Formal training in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Performs surveying and mapping work involving measuring and recording data on land, buildings, or construction projects.
• Processes field survey data.
• Creates maps using computer-aided design software.
• Researches property records.
• Reads and interprets survey maps.
• Produces sketches, maps, and graphic representations as directed by Supervisor.
