About The Position
The EADS Group's Somerset, PA office, is seeking a full-time CAD Technician to join our growing, multi-disciplined engineering firm. The CAD Technician position will support the Survey Department by providing detailed drafting and data processing support.
Requirements
- Two to five years' experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D software, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- An aptitude and interest in surveying and survey related tasks.
Nice To Haves
- An Associate degree or post-secondary training in drafting and design from a technical trade school.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing rough sketches, drawings, and specifications, plot drawings and sketches from field information and survey data showing elevations, cross-sections, mapping and field support.
- Developing plans and profiles for utility lines, water distribution, and sewage collection systems will be incorporated into one's work.
