Surveillance Technical Assist
About The Position
The Surveillance Technical Assistant reports to the Surveillance Technical Manager and is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of casino and security surveillance systems. This role involves routine cleaning and preventative maintenance of various surveillance equipment, assisting with inventory, and responding to emergency service calls. The position requires maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information and assisting operational supervisors. Additionally, the assistant may perform duties of an Operational System Agent and advise the Director of Surveillance in the absence of the Technical Manager. The role requires the ability to access various installation areas and a working knowledge of computer software.
Requirements
- Ability to access areas of installation of surveillance equipment (ceilings, attics, crawl spaces, etc.).
- Working knowledge of computer software programs.
- One (1) year in surveillance systems providing maintenance, repair, and installation of video cassette recorders, video monitors, video cameras, pan/tilt motor and gears, system processors and controls, and system peripheral equipment.
- Must possess a Gaming Registration.

- Electronics background or equivalent work experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Surveillance Technical Manager daily for work schedule and assigned projects.
- Perform proper maintenance and repair of casino and security surveillance systems.
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on video cassette recorders, video monitors, video cameras, pan/tilt motors and gears, system processors and controls, and system peripheral equipment.
- Install equipment as directed.
- Assist in ordering and stocking cleaning supplies and spare parts.
- Assist in planning, placement, and installation of cameras and support equipment in new or reconfigured areas.
- Respond to emergency service calls.
- Maintain confidential information on all corporate Security and Surveillance personnel, projects, and programs.
- Assist all Operational Shift Supervisors as needed.
- Perform duties of an Operational System Agent as required.
- Perform all duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
- Advise the Director of Surveillance on current and future projects in the absence of the Technical Manager.
