About The Position

Provide guidance and instruction to surveillance associates on assigned shifts at Resort Gaming Facilities with more than 1000 EGM units and greater than 10 Table and Card Games. Ensure protection of casino assets using surveillance equipment, techniques, and operational procedures. Manage requests and ongoing investigations and assist Manager with goals and plans to meet operational goals. You will report to the Surveillance Manager 2.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in business or related field or equivalent experience or 2 years related experience.
  • 1+ years experience using Microsoft applications.
  • Typing skills of 40 wpm.
  • Experience with Federal, State and Tribal regulations and procedures that govern Tribal Gaming.
  • Ability to obtain a key gaming license.
  • Can distinguish colors, shapes, and assess scenes.
  • Two (2) years of surveillance, security or report writing experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with surveillance and casino department MICS, TICS, SICS, and Department Procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations and activities of surveillance monitoring rooms and document.
  • Ensure clear communication between all three shifts and the Surveillance Manager.
  • Perform the tasks of a Surveillance Agent when needed.
  • Maintain and review daily logs and reports to ensure adequate and accurate information on surveillance activities is being documented and that surveillance activities meet regulations outlined in SOP, MICS, TICS, and SICS.
  • Assign multiple reviews and investigations to associates and update report tracking tools, managing the status of open cases and ongoing investigations.
  • Review incident and investigation analysis reports that document the timeline of events reviewed, with accuracy, correct punctuation, appropriate grammar, and promptly.
  • Help hire and interview, facilitate new hire training, and evaluate associates' performance on assigned shifts.
  • Promote a positive atmosphere of collaboration to ensure the department operates as a team.
  • Facilitate in-person reviews and ensure video evidence is correctly exported to external media storage and referenced for future use and investigations.
  • Initiate evidence transfers to other departments after appropriate approval.
  • Approve associate timecards and requests for time off after reviewing operational demands and consulting with Surveillance Manager.
  • Issue Access Control credentials to new associates; help issue new cards for those who may have lost or damaged their original.
  • Create cardholders and cardholder groups with necessary access rights based on job title and position.
  • Update or remove access based on associate status change notifications.
  • Ensure access is authorized and only provided to associates with a valid license issued by the CNGC.
  • Demonstrate 3+ years of experience with surveillance and casino department MICS, TICS, SICS, and Department Procedures.
  • Protect the confidential nature of casino department observations, recorded video, and surveillance activities.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned.
