Responsible for supervising Surveillance staff and the overall management of activities of the Surveillance monitor room on assigned shift, in an effort to ensure the protection of life and property. This role involves monitoring all areas of the property to identify security and safety risks, ensuring the quality of operations, and training staff on rules and regulations of the Gaming Commission. The manager will protect casino assets and gaming integrity by overseeing thorough monitoring of activities, especially on the gaming floor, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. They will also manage shift schedules for adequate staffing, participate in employee selection and development, and foster a positive team environment. Responsibilities include reviewing daily activity reports, coordinating with the Security Department, facilitating information flow, reviewing video coverage for unusual activities, and making recommendations for process improvements. The role also promotes a fun atmosphere for guests and encourages mutual respect, dignity, and integrity among employees, while retaining employees through training and development.
