About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Surveillance Security Officer in Binghamton, New York. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate, documenting incidents, responding to potential threats, conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, and protecting people and property. The set schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at $20.16 per hour. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
