About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in St. Paul, Minnesota. The officer monitors security systems and screens to spot threats before they escalate in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the first shift, and pays $19.80 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual activity and exceptional concentration skills.
• Have strong proficiency with technology.
• Have security experience.
• Have a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents by writing detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.

• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
