About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is looking for a Surveillance Security Officer. This role requires a sharp eye for detail to monitor screens and identify potential threats before they escalate. The officer will work in environments such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses. The position is based in Washington, D.C., and requires flexibility to work across two sites: a Theater Exhibit and a Broadcast News Office Building. Available shifts include various combinations of nights and days across different days of the week.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a motor vehicle background check.
Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hours while conducting patrols.
High school education or equivalent (GED)
Able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
Security, Military, and/or Law Enforcement experience of at least 2 years or more
Active DC security license
At least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements
Must have experience utilizing Microsoft applications or Google applications, and Security Systems.
Must have experience with Incident/ DAR reports

Execute strategic crowd control and monitoring measures during high-profile corporate events to ensure participant safety and orderly foot traffic.
Maintain unwavering situational awareness and physical oversight of all facility entrances, exits, and perimeters while upholding strict uniform etiquette and a professional demeanor at all times.
