About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Surveillance Security Officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves monitoring screens and security systems to identify threats before they escalate, in settings such as security operations centers, call centers, and parking gatehouses. The schedule is part-time, Thursday through Saturday, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. The hourly wage is $22. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual awareness and exceptional concentration skills.
• Be strongly proficient with technology.
• Have military, law enforcement, or at least 2 years of security experience.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document observed events and incidents in detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to help ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitors’ identities.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations or emergencies.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of people and property.
