Surveillance Operator
About The Position
The Surveillance Operator’s main function is to provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets. This role involves upholding and enforcing gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations. The operator will monitor all casino activities and games, noting any suspicious activity, and utilize necessary equipment to identify, record, document, and report illegal, suspicious, or unusual activities occurring on property. The position requires exercising good judgment in solving problems and resolving guest issues, and may involve conducting investigations into internal and external incidents and creating detailed reports.
Requirements
- One year or more of surveillance experience.
- Have or are able to obtain any gaming license that may be required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Provide a friendly and safe environment for guests and team members while protecting company assets.
- Deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions.
- Exercise good judgment in solving problems and resolution of guest issues.
- Uphold and enforce gaming regulations, company policies, and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations.
- Read, interpret, and analyze security reports and other company documents daily.
- Conduct investigations into a variety of internal and external incidents and create detailed reports to reflect findings.
- Monitor incidents resulting in loss and investigate to determine the source of the loss.
- Work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the operation, including nights and weekends when necessary.
- Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Overall surveillance - monitoring of all Casino activities.
- Monitoring all games - noting any suspicious activity.
- Utilize necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property.
