Monitors and reacts to security situations, safety issues, illegal activities, internal procedural violations, and regulatory infractions. This role requires maintaining strict confidentiality regarding the surveillance system and operations. Any information that could affect the business, reputation, safety, or compliance of the property must be reported to the Surveillance Supervisor or Surveillance Shift Manager, and potentially the Director of Surveillance. The operator observes monitor screens displaying views of the Gaming facility and land-based sites, adjusting controls for optimal reception and reporting equipment malfunctions. They follow all instructions from supervisors and react accordingly to issues as they arise. The role involves close surveillance of gaming and non-gaming activities using necessary equipment to identify, record, and document illegal or unusual activities in areas such as the gaming floor, slot booths, count rooms, vault, and cage. All findings must be reported to the Surveillance Supervisor or appropriate authority, and written reports must be completed during the shift. Other duties may be assigned.
