Operates electronic video and audio surveillance systems to observe and monitor casino guests and employees for violations of gaming laws, internal controls, and company policies. The role involves reporting violations, ensuring guest and employee safety and security, and maintaining technical knowledge of surveillance systems. This position also requires communication with colleagues via two-way radio, prompt response to security or emergency situations, and conducting incident investigations by reviewing surveillance footage. Collaboration with management and security personnel during investigations is essential. The role demands strict adherence to all relevant gaming regulations and internal procedures, as well as maintaining confidentiality of all surveillance activities and investigations. Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement. Additionally, the Surveillance Operator is responsible for installing, maintaining, and performing preventive maintenance on surveillance systems, including cameras and recording equipment, in compliance with gaming laws.
