About The Position

This is a full-time Surveillance Officer position. The role involves understanding and responding to internal guests' needs, communicating in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner, and providing consistent, timely, and accurate information. The officer will use outlined service behaviors when encountering guests and meet expected service delivery times. Teamwork and positive communication about the company, co-workers, and guests are essential. The position requires maintaining surveillance on designated areas and activities, assisting with training new Surveillance Officers, and recording any irregular activity as required. Employees must adhere to regulations set forth in N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11 and sign an acknowledgment of these regulatory requirements prior to employment in the Surveillance Department.   • Understands and responds to internal guests’ needs.

  • Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answers when unsure.
  • Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests.
  • Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department’s service standards or as required by receiver of service or goods.
  • Is a team player, cooperates with employees within the department as well as other departments.
  • Speaks positively about the company, co-workers, and guests.
  • Maintains surveillance on designated areas and activities.
  • Assists with training of new Surveillance officer according to standard operating procedures.
  • Records any irregular activity as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Adheres to the regulations set forth in N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11.
