About The Position

Support the Department’s public safety mission by supervising and monitoring probationers in accordance with DOC standards. The role enhances community safety through home contacts, investigative support, and coordination with community resources. It ensures accurate documentation, effective communication, and timely reporting. Surveillance Officers play a key role in probationer accountability and successful reintegration.

Requirements

• Ability to collect, analyze, and accurately document information from multiple sources.
• Ability to maintain detailed records in accordance with departmental standards.
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Experience using automated databases and case management systems.
• Eligibility and ability to successfully obtain required VCIN certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with case management computer applications.
• Demonstrated experience making referrals to community resources.
