About The Position

Observes casino or casino hotel operations for irregular activities such as cheating or theft by either employees or patrons in order to protect casino assets and assist in efforts to maintain adherence to internal controls, departmental procedures and other company policies.

Requirements

Requires a High School diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
Must be flexible with working hours and days off, as sometimes job requires covering shifts, other than your regular schedule.
Must be able to work independently without supervision.
Must be proficient in basic math skills and mental computations.
Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess good computer skills.
Must display a level of maturity commensurate with the responsibility of the position.
Must be able to meet all non-supervisory training and education requirements.
Ability to work in a confined area.
Work typically in an area, which may be usually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second-hand smoke.
Must be able to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
Requires frequent use of hands, arms, wrists and fingers near vision associated with use of video surveillance equipment.
Requires extended periods of sitting and viewing video monitors.
Must be confidential.

Responsibilities

Conducts continuous surveillance of all areas of the casino via CCTV system as Directed by Surveillance Supervisors and/or Director in compliance with the Gaming Commission, departmental, company regulations.
Supports other managers and executives with assistance and information relating to the protection of assets in their respective departments, as well as fellow observers in the performance of their duties.
Maintains a professional relationship with the Gaming Commission and its agents.
Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
