Surgical Technology Adjunct
About The Position
Tri County Technical College is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Surgical Technology Adjunct Instructors to join the Health Sciences Division. This role involves teaching using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program, maintaining records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluating student achievement, and assigning grades. Teaching assignments may include both on-campus and/or at various clinical sites in the greater tri-county area. The Fall 2026 Semester begins August 10th and ends December 2026. This role is a part-time, non-benefited position.
Requirements
- Must be qualified by education and experience, and must be effective in teaching the subjects assigned.
- Must possess a credential in the field of surgical technology through a national certification program that is accredited by the National Commission on Certifying Agencies.
- A minimum total of two years experience, either in the operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, or a combination of both, within the last five years.
