About The Position

AHWFB Outpatient Surgery is a state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center featuring eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms, along with 32 beds dedicated to preparation, recovery, and post-anesthesia care. Our services include general surgery, otolaryngology, orthopedics, urology, and plastic surgery. In the OR and PreOp/PACU, our RNs lead with compassion, providing top-tier care in an ambulatory setting where patients and families are always at the heart of everything we do.

Requirements

• Graduation from a Surgical Technology program
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• At least 1 year of Surgical Technology experience
• MUST HAVE 2 YEAR DEGREE IN SURGICAL TECHNOLOGY

Responsibilities

• Embrace this pivotal role in patient care as you work alongside the Registered Nurse.
• Support direct patient care, prepare the Operating Room pre- and post-surgery, arrange sterile instruments, and maintain aseptic techniques.
• Ensure top-notch patient care, safety, and advocacy by anticipating and addressing case-specific needs with sharp critical thinking under RN supervision.
• Uphold excellence by impeccably managing instruments, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
